THER is a thoughtfully designed 5-meter-wide, four-story townhome where efficient space planning and a sense of openness take center stage. Drawing inspiration from timeless Parisian aesthetics, the interiors embrace a Modern Classic style—balanced proportions, classic orders, and understated elegance, softened with clean-lined furniture to maintain a relaxed yet refined ambiance. The ground floor serves as a multifunctional space for recreation, dining, and cooking, seamlessly connecting to a small garden. A central corridor guides the flow into the home, lined with concealed storage for essentials. This pathway leads to the double-height living area, adorned with white walls, marble accents, ornamental moldings, and a fireplace niche, creating a spacious yet sophisticated atmosphere. Hidden storage and discreetly designed utility spaces ensure functionality without disrupting the aesthetic. The floor concludes with a serene Japanese-style backyard garden that infuses natural vitality into the home throughout the day. The second floor is dedicated to reception and workspaces, designed for warmth and productivity. Wooden flooring adds a cozy touch, while one wall is transformed into a full-length storage unit interspersed with custom-designed French-inspired artwork by the homeowner. A decorative arch frames the staircase landing, subtly demarcating areas for added privacy. Beneath the staircase, a bespoke corner is crafted for "Muffin," the family's furry companion, ensuring they remain close to the heart of the home. Third and Fourth Floors are the private bedrooms, each following the cohesive Modern Classic style. Emphasis is placed on maximizing storage, with built-in cabinetry designed for future ease of organization and maintenance. The understated yet elegant finishes ensure a serene and timeless retreat for the homeowners. THER exemplifies how thoughtful planning, timeless design, and a touch of personal charm can transform a compact footprint into a spacious and enduringly elegant living space.
