“Stacked House” is a meticulously designed urban retreat in the heart of Bangkok, set on a compact 240 sqm plot of land. Despite its limited footprint, the residence achieves a spacious and functional living environment with over 600 sqm of usable area distributed across four stories. The vertical layout optimizes each level for specific uses: the ground floor hosts service areas, 3 parkings, and a welcoming garden with a water feature, creating a serene entryway. The second floor is the social core of the home, featuring a family living and dining space for shared moments. The upper two levels house private bedrooms and workspaces, elevated to capture uninterrupted skyline views and reduce urban noise. The building’s design employs a “composite form” to balance its verticality, blending privacy with openness. Solid walls dominate the lower levels, with strategically placed openings facing the garden to shield the interiors from external views while maintaining optimum view of greenery and ventilation. The upper levels feature windows oriented toward the city, complemented by vertical fin and louvered façade that preserve privacy while allowing in ample light and views of Bangkok’s skyline. Inside, the home embraces a warm modern farmhouse aesthetic with a touch of contemporary elegance. Natural materials like wood, paired with a soft, light color palette, establish a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Decorative trims, gentle curves, and a selection of contemporary furniture add sophistication and character, ensuring the space feels approachable and lived-in. Every detail is curated to deliver a timeless and comforting home environment that effortlessly blends style with function.
