Situated on a 240-square-meter plot in the Chan Road area, this compact single-family home spans 300 square meters with a carefully planned layout. The house accommodates three bedrooms, five bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area, and a well-defined maid’s quarters, offering functionality and comfort within a modest footprint. The design is inspired by the timeless elegance of Modern French style, aligning with the owner’s desire for a home that feels inviting, graceful, and becomes more charming with time. We blended classic French architectural language with modern simplicity, creating a structure that stands out while harmonizing with the surrounding urban context. The house features a two-story layout with a wide front façade. The upper level showcases tall, slender windows and small bedroom balconies arranged rhythmically to embody French elegance. In contrast, the ground level combines practicality with modernity, featuring a clean-lined parking area. A small front garden welcomes visitors, complementing the living room on the ground floor for easy access and flexible use. The Modern French influence extends beyond the façade to the interior layout. The house incorporates spatial rhythms typical of European homes, such as a central staircase hall and a functional butler’s kitchen. The rear of the home is designed in an L-shaped layout, creating a private backyard or courtyard. Rooms in the rear wing, requiring greater privacy, open primarily to the courtyard, allowing natural light and garden views to flow in. This design ensures privacy from external views while maintaining openness and connection to nature.
